The AFP Utah Chapter offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to fundraising professionals throughout the year, including membership scholarships and professional development/training scholarships.

Professional Development Scholarships

Each year, the AFP Utah Chapter hosts the Fundamentals of Fundraising Conference or the Fundraising Day Conference. The AFP Utah Chapter offers many scholarship opportunities, which cover the registration fee to attend.

Currently, the AFP Utah Chapter has scholarships available for the Fundamentals of Fundraising Conference, happening Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Megaplex Theaters Jordan Commons in Sandy, Utah. The scholarship will cover the registration fee to attend, but will not include costs associated with travel. To apply for a scholarship, please submit your application here by Monday, May 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Membership Scholarships

AFP Membership scholarships to cover the cost of AFP International dues and the local Utah chapter dues. These scholarships are valid for one year of membership and are not awarded for consecutive years.

Chamberlain Scholarship

The AFP Foundation offers every AFP chapter one Chamberlain Scholarship each year, which covers the recipient’s conference registration to AFP ICON. The scholarship is available to individuals who have never attended AFP ICON. In addition, the AFP Utah Chapter will provide the recipient with a $500 travel stipend.
