Greater Public
Gayle Ewer is the Chapter Administrator for the AFP Utah Chapter. She is also the Director of Member Engagement at Greater Public, a nonprofit association supporting public media stations across the country. Gayle Ewer has committed her professional career to nonprofit work in public media, working primarily in marketing, events, and community engagement. She’s passionate about public media and the important balance of local content alongside national news, like NPR and PBS. As the Director of Member Engagement at Greater Public, she oversees the planning and execution of events, including the annual conference, in addition to developing innovative strategies to engage and connect with audiences beyond traditional meetings. Before coming to Greater Public, she worked at KUER 90.1, NPR Utah in Salt Lake City for eight years.
Gayle lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, son, and two Miniature Schnauzers. She has a Bachelor’s in Communication from the University of San Diego and a Master’s in Communication from the University of Utah. When she’s not glued to the radio listening to podcasts or her local public radio stations, she’s enjoying time with her family and friends in the beautiful state of Utah.
