Speaker: Dr. Dan Heist is an Assistant Professor of Nonprofit Management at Brigham Young University. He earned a master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies from the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on philanthropy and fundraising. He is a leading expert on donor-advised funds and co-founder of the Donor-Advised Fund Research Collaborative."
