The Senior Advancement Director for Student Success Advancement will lead fundraising efforts in support of philanthropic priorities of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs as outlined and in support of the divisions of Student Affairs, Scholarships & Financial Aid, Undergraduate Studies, Honors College, and the Graduate School.
Reporting to the Principal Advancement Director for Student Success, the senior director will manage a major and principal gift portfolio, identifying new prospects, and stewarding relationships to expand the funding for student success initiatives at the University. This position will lead major fundraising initiatives, build annual development plans, and track progress toward goals to expand funding to meet the needs of students across campus. The senior director will work closely with the principal gifts and donor relations teams to ensure coordinated efforts around some of the University’s largest donors.
In addition, the senior director will manage a small team of development professionals and work closely with the principal advancement director of Student Success to build and maintain a cohesive, collaborative and productive fundraising team. Additionally, the senior director will ensure accurate and timely reporting of fundraising efforts to Student Success Advancement area campus leaders.
